Knight rifles has just announced the release of a new bullet called the “Ultimate Slam Series PBT” Here’s an excerpt from their press release:

Knight’s new Ultimate Slam Series PBT (polymer boattail) muzzleloader bullet delivers exceptional long-range performance, devastating penetration and massive shock and damage. It is the first polymer tip, all copper bullet for a muzzleloader. A specially designed streamlined tip enhances the expansion of this 100 percent copper bullet. Upon striking game, this exceptionally accurate bullet expands into six razor-sharp copper petals for maximum tissue damage. It creates massive shock and deep, sure penetration while retaining virtually 100 percent of its original weight. The new .50 caliber bullets are available in 250 and 290 grains and in 18 and 30 packs. The new sabot design makes loading easy without sacrificing the tight gas seal that makes the Ultimate Slam Series the most accurate muzzleloader bullet on the market.
