Product Description
Ever since a walk home on a particularly stormy day, Jessica Mastriani has had an ability like no other. She became known worldwide as Lightning Girl—a psychic who could find the location of anyone, dead or alive. Jess finally had no choice but to embrace her newfound talent, and ended up lending her skills to the U.S. government. But her work for them has taken a terrible toll, and Jess resurfaces months later a shadow of her former self, her powers gone, Lightning Girl no more. Her only hope is starting over in a new place, a big city where nobody knows her. It's only when Rob Wilkins unexpectedly shows up on her doorstep that she's forced to face her past. Rob, all the way from back home, needs her help. But how can Jess, her powers gone, find anyone, let alone the sister of a man she once loved . . . when she can't even find herself? Missing You, the fifth and final book in the 1-800-Where-R-You series

Missing nothing! November 3, 2008 I just found the 1-800-Where-R-You books and although I enjoyed #'s 1-3 a lot, I found # 4 to be excellent and the final one, Missing You, to be the best of all. But, I'm a sucker for Romance, so if you prefer action to Romance, you'll be a little disappointed in the final installment. Another reviewer on here wrote that the ending was too corny, but in my opinion, it wasn't corny enough! We don't even get to ever see the words "I love you," coming from a certain Grit hottie. It's heavily implied, but never said. Anyway, I loved it and will read this again. I recommend it if you've read the other four!
Love the book, but the Kindle version could use some work October 27, 2008 I love the story and the book. This review is merely to inform Kindle owners that the Kindle version is a little off in its formatting. Meg Cabot tends-to-do-this-thing-where-you-string-tons-of-words-together-with-dashes and it really confuses the Kindle. It's not too bad, and I don't want to return the kBook or anything, but I thought I should mention it.
Finding yourself July 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm 8 yrs old; my older sister read this whole book aloud to me so we could share the fun. In fact, this is the fifth book she's read aloud to me in a row (althoug I can read! very well) This book involves boys, fashion, hidden powers, kids, friendship, an engagement, humor, and Iraqi terrorists. I hope you will read When Lightening Strikes, Code Name Cassandra, Safe House, Sanctuary, and the fifth and final book, Missing You. It will be time well spent.
Amazing! Meg does it again! May 18, 2008 This book is great! A great finish to a great series! Personally, I think this had a lot more romance than the other books. However, I really liked it. It still had all the action, drama, and romance that came with the first four books in the series. Meg still has all the elements to make a perfect book and a perfect ending. I think it is fantastic! Jess really shines in this one, and she finds herself, which is one of the most important things that anyone can go through. All of the questions about Rob are answered in this book. I love to see how Jess went through so many trials and grew up to what she is in the end of the book! Fantastic! Meg has done it again!
great ending March 7, 2008 This series is so fast-paced and easy to read that I read all 5 books in two days. I don't think that's a bad thing since I really needed a break in all the dark, gory books I've been reading lately. My only complaint is I wish they had a book for the in between years. I think that Iraq would have been way more exciting then anything we've read, especially since it caused Jess to lose her ability to find missing people. And the fourth book ended with Jess introducing Rob to her parents as her boyfriend, and then in the begining of this they aren't even together? It was a little bit disappointing. I love the ending. I cant say anything without spoiling it, other than I loved it.
