Product Description Legions of readers entranced by Twilight are hungry for more and they won't be disappointed. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

Disappointingly slow, zero plot July 4, 2008 I liked the first book in the series (Twilight) and as soon as I finished it I went out and bought New Moon. It was immensely disappointing. Bella is incredibly boring, apathetic and acts like a brat through the entire book. The Jacob Black plot was SO obvious, no person with half an iota of intelligence would have taken as long as Bella to figure out. I just wanted to get to the end so it would be over, not because I much cared what happened to her or Edward. Can't say I like a character that spends an entire novel moping and takes a guy back the first chance she gets even though he treated her like dirt (for her own good, of course...so stupid). I won't bother wasting my money on the third book. I may get it from the library. Just how many books are supposed to be in this "Saga"? I do hope Meyer has planned and plotted a solid storyline for future books with a good beginning, middle and end. This one was clearly a mess with horrible pacing, repetitive writing and no plot.
Choices July 3, 2008 I loved this book as well. It was really difficult to read because it didn't feel as happy as Twilight. But it was full of tough choices and that is representative of life. So while most people liked this book less, it was equally significant as far as the story line and character development are concerned. It kept the page turning even faster as the drama continued. It's amazing how the author thinks of NEW ways to keep us in suspense.
EXCELLENT BOOK!!!! July 3, 2008 I LOVED THIS BOOK, ALONG WITH THE OTHER 2 IN THE TWILIGHT BOOK SERIES!!! I AM EAGERLY WAITING FOR THE 4TH BOOK TO COME OUT IN AUGUST 2008!!!! :D
Absolute Page Turner July 3, 2008 This is another great book from Meyer. I discovered this series and I am SO glad I did. I checked out Twilight from the library and as soon as I finished it I promptly bought the whole set online. This book will keep you turning until you finish and then leave you wanting for more!
Another good one July 3, 2008 This was not my favorite book out of the 3 I've read so far, but I still enjoyed it and wanted more from the third book.
