An excellent introduction to the study of astronomy - beautifully presented, like all DK books, and reasonably priced.

This book is appropriately named as a companion book,...the kind that is small enough to take with you, and it will give you ideas of potential sky objects to view or photograph that night. Nice reading, and good photographs to aid you. Excellent for beginners and intermediates alike.
