A good kids book July 1, 2002 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved this book when i was in second grade. i am now in 7th, and i reread it and still liked it. I do think it is for younger readers, but ones who can manage a few tough words. i really liked the storyline, and the whole plot is really realistic. I loved the characters, and it does seem likely that someone would write wrong adresses (i know i have!). My favorite preson in this book, however, was Paula, because she really is determined (my favorite varies from book to book).I have been to Disney before, and it seems to be a very close likeness as to the story. i reccomended the book to my 1st grade younger sister, and she loved it too, although my mom had to help her with some of the words. I really think that if you love Disney characters, Disney, Magic, or Herbs/Rock Climbing/Acting/Storytelling/Cooking/Karate, you will like this book.

Just the best book! June 13, 2002 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I dore this book! I started to read the first one in the plane and everything became totally magical. I am so happy that the author did a super speacial in WDW!!! That just made it even more magical. I reread this book at least FIVE times. I just wish that the author would write the books from number 1 to number 30, so we could share the magic continuesly!
Grown-up Disney girl reads kids' series!Film at 11. September 2, 2001 Being a girl who grew up in Orlando in the shadow of Walt Disney World, and being someone who loves Disney like patriots love America, I had to get the Disney Girls series even though I am in my late twenties. I enjoy the light reading, but the backs of most books promise the girls actually "becoming those princesses", and I noticed little of that. I was expecting scenes, well, where Paula stopped being called Paula and was called Pocahontas instead, and we were transported back to her historical world. But the action pretty much stays in the present. Being a Disney annual passholder, I do notice some inconsistencies when the girls visit Disney. For instance, in this volume, it should be pointed out that Space Mountain does NOT go upside down--at least the Orlando version doesn't. Still, it was fun collecting and reading these books.
TOTALLY MAGICAL!... August 2, 2001 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I LOVE this book! The characters are all great, the writing is great, EVERYTHING is great!... I especially like the ending! Also, I think that the girls are really realistic. I've been to Disney World, but even if I hadn't I'd be able to picture the setting! YOU REALLY SHOULD READ THIS BOOK!...
