My first grade daughter enjoyed finding the countries and matching the flags with the appropriate
sticker. She learned which continent the countries were on, and when they
adopted their flags. This book does not provide any info on what the colors and
designs on each flag mean. There are plenty of other books for that. Sometimes it's nice just
to find a country and match the flag. She completed it in three days, but four weeks later
still looks at the book. There is a space to mark the date and location if you see the flags
flying somewhere. To date we have been able to mark 2 dozen flags which she has thoroughly enjoyed.
