Medium Light Power, Fast Action December 11, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The main part of the book is page after page of sentence length tips presented in little blurbs with pictures. I found these not to be helpful. If these are helpful you probably don't know anything about fishing and should go for "Fishing for Dummies," which is a reasonably well rounded introduction to fishing or you do know something and they will probably not be helpful. On the upside, even if they are not helpful they go by very quickly because of their concision. The second part of the book on cooking I thought presented a nice little selection of simple recipes. The third part of the book which is tips organized by species of fish was the most helpful part of the book. Fishing for specific species is something that does lend itself to "tips" because there is such a variety of specific information. Also, I found the knot illustrations to be particularly poor.
