Most of this book is a repeat of his other book "Trapper's Bible: Traps, Snares & Pathguards". If you are looking for info on traps and snares, just buy "Trapper's Bible: Traps, Snares & Pathguards". Save your money and skip "Into The Primitive: Advanced Trapping Techniques".
Solid action author! July 10, 1999 6 out of 11 found this review helpful
I have read all of Mr. Martin's books and I highly endorse "Into The Primitive". Detailed and well researched. "Trapper's Bible" is another book by Martin that is excellent.
Top notch! A cut above the rest! June 27, 1999 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
A top notch first rate book on survival. Not the same old stuff, but gives information on many items not seen in any other similar books. Well researched and well done!
