5 out of 5 stars Great   March 31, 2005

Though the book is not very well illustrated I gave it 5 stars because it teaches vocabulary in the structure of blessings and prayers that you will actually hear in everyday synagogue usage. This, as opposed to other books, lets you feel that you can actually use what you are learning immediately and not have to wait weeks until you can start pulling out some words. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning Hebrew to follow and participate in prayer service.
