Heresy August 8, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is an explicit denial of the gospel. It denies the doctrine of the atonement and substitution. If, in fact, Christ bore all my sins in His body on the cross and has once for all satisfied all of the wrath of God toward me for all of eternity and I am viewed by God as the very righteousness of Christ because of the substitutionary atonement of Christ, I CANNOT be punished for my sins in any way, shape or form. They have been removed as far as the east is from the west. I can and will be disciplined by God because He is my Father, but this is never a judicial, penal act in response to sin. God's discipline is always a loving act to train us and cause us to grow in righteousness, not to punish for sin. As a child of God, I will never be cursed by God for my sin. I have already been under the curse of law. Before I was saved, I was accursed by God! But then, hallelujah, I learned that Christ had become a curse for me and God so worked in my heart that I believed and was brought to new life. And now by the finished work of Christ for me on the cross, the curse is fully and eternally and irreversibly broken!
Disappointing March 13, 2008 Useless, not what I thought it would be. Silly book. Claims that curses are put upon us by GOD for our sins. Please, God does not curse us. Sin simply takes us away from God. We hurt ourselves with sin, God isn't about cursing people.

If you wonder why things seems to repeat themselves and why so much trouble seem to come in your life even if you're walking with God; you may like to investigate this small powerful book. There are a lot of things we take for granted like unconfessed sins, open doors in our past that allow the enemy to keep attacking in our lives. The simple but profound teaching will give you insight if you view it from God's perspective.
for the true believer January 3, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
In spite of the nay-sayers, who are some who deny the truth, this is an excellent book for shining light on this subject and exposing what's behind denying the truth.
Exceptional!! August 17, 2006 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This book was a great book to read. It was very easy reading and hard to put down. Me and my siblings, read the book as a project. I am one of seven children. None of us smoke or drink, and we are all Christians. Our dad is a pastor and our mom a foreign missionary. All of us are married except for two of us, and we have a lot of great things going on in our lives. However, as hard as we work and try to take care of our homes (all of us are homeowners and some of us even have rental property), there is still something that's been troubling us and trying to block our progress in some areas. We believe it's generational and this book has helped us a great deal. There were many issues addressed that we were able to identify with. If you are struggling within or within your family, this is great way to start identifying some issues. This is definitely a must have and read. I can read it over and over again.
