| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This book examines all facets of the life and environment of the mule deer, which inhabit the western portion of North America. Mule deer are the cousins of the whitetails, though they are a separate species. This book is Classic Bauer, filled with overview of facts, behaviour, and conservation, as well as stories from Erwin's personal experiences.

| Customer Reviews:
Well at least there are a lot of nice pictures. February 10, 2000 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
The title of the book is very misleading. There is very little information about mule deer in this book. I was expecting a book with detailed information on behavior and habitat. What you get is the authors' memories of hiking through wilderness taking pictures. There is some information of Mule Deer, but nothing you cannot get from a magazine article.
