| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Byron Fisher's new book, The Supply and Demand Paradox, is a remarkable book that addresses two fundamental questions within the field of economics: 1) Will a consumer demand a good or service simply because a producer supplies it? 2) Will a producer supply a good or service simply because a consumer demands it? The author answers both questions fully, in presenting a theory that he has developed -- known as the Supply and Demand Paradox (SDP). With logical and straightforward explanations, he makes clear to the reader exactly why the supply of a particular product or service cannot in and of itself generate demand. In stark contrast, demand for any product or service -- whether illicit or not -- will always generate supply, as it spurs one or more business organizations to satisfy that demand in the pursuit of profits. This unique new theory is applied to a host of fields, including evolutionary biology, political science, organized crime, and the origin of financial markets. Anyone with an interest in economics, free markets, and the powerful influences of supply and demand, will find this book well worth reading.

Wonderfully new perspective on supply and demand February 27, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It was fantastic, providing numerous examples of true concepts that dont make sense according to economic laws in the supply is truely not equal to demand. Infact, without the concept of demand, there would be no supply at all.
Insightful and Thought Provoking February 19, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
. . . INSIGHTFUL AND THOUGHT PROVOKING! The author provides an excellent opportunity for the reader to view the flip side of a rudimentary concept in unconventional arenas. This book is both educational and entertaining. Give us more!
