Not appropriate for Toddlers March 3, 2008 I purchased this set after reading the wonderful reviews here. I have to say I'm quite disappointed with these stories. They are really strange, sometimes scary and don't really have a moral to the story. My 3 1/2 yr old doesn't like them at all and she has quite an imagination but these were just too strange for her.
This is the most awesome childrens book ever January 23, 2008 Robert Munsch is my favorite author of children's books, because of the cool situations he puts his characters in. If you have kids, you need this book!
Not happy with Munschworks January 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What I didn't like about The Munschworks Grand Treasury is that few of the children portrayed are good characters to emulate and most of the adults are portrayed as inept and not respected.
Love it! June 6, 2007 We got this as a gift when our twin sons were born and finally pulled it out when they were about 2 1/2. These stories are wonderfully imaginative and funny and my now 3 year old boys look forward to picking out a story from this book every night. An added plus is that the stories have some really good lessons hidden in the humor.
Wonderful! May 15, 2007 I love his stories and thankfully my 3 year old grand daughter does too. She picks out the story she wants me to read based on the pictures. I was only familiar with "Purple, Green and Yellow" and "Thomas' Snowsuit" but thought I'd risk buying the collection instead of the individual books. I'm glad I did.
I think it's a real deal to get this many great stories in one book for this price.
