Comments: DIFFERENT BOOK. Highly collectible rare first edition "Modern Shot Guns" from the (W. W.) Greener Squires Arms Co. Issued when The Gun and its Development: with notes on shooting was in its 4th edition. Advertisements in back for Greener firearms and books/manuals. Binding square and tight, bluish purple boards smudged but still vibrant. Spine fraying at top corners bumped and slightly frayed. Embossed black shotgun on spine with bright giled title and black embossed tiltle and border on front board. Good/no DJ (as published). A handsome hardcover volume, an historical artifact.
