Includes detailed information for rifle, pistol and shotshell loading. Almost 8,000 loads, recommended by the powder suppliers. Many of these loads are decades old, time tested and remain the very best maximum safe loads available. Data is organized in th

4 out of 5 stars Good data   November 5, 2008
This is a good manuel for the beginning reloader, though heavy in advertisements for LEE but this to be expected since it is put out by the company. Full of useful knowledge and has excellant load data.

5 out of 5 stars My favorite reloading manual   October 30, 2008
Another reviewer, Zeek, is right about the first part of the book being heavily Lee biased (for obvious reasons.) But consider this; Lee does not manufacture bullets, brass, powder, or primers, so you get NO bias in the reloading tables, which is the real value of a reloading manual. I have other manuals which I like, but the companies that publish those books have a vested interest in at least one component of ammo, so you get a small to large bias towards their components. The other thing that I like about the Lee manual is how many different bullets/loads they list for each chambering. My pet round is the 300 RUM, the Lee manual lists 14 bullets!

5 out of 5 stars A Must Have   October 12, 2008
This books is a must read for anyone starting or wanting to learn about reloading. The load data tables are very valuable.

4 out of 5 stars An Informative and Useful Reloading Manual   September 6, 2007
The opening chapters are informative, but full of Lee advertisements. The load data in the rear of the book contains loadings for many different powder and bullet combinations in numerous calibers. I would like to see more data about reduced charges for target shooting.

2 out of 5 stars Good data tables, but reads like an advertisement for Lee.   May 23, 2007

The first quarter of the book reads like an advertisement for Lee reloading equipment. It's shoved down your throat to a point where it's difficult to glean any information from all the marketing garbage. I don't think you can find 3 consecutive sentences which don't tout the superiority of Lee equipment or suggest you buy a specific Lee product. If you're looking for a good, unbiased intro to reloading, this isn't it. If you're looking for a good, comprehensive set of data tables on cartridge loads, or if you're a huge Lee fan and never plan on buying a piece of equipment made by a manufacturer other than Lee, this book is for you.
