All-natural bore cleaner. Contains no petroleum based additives & is compatible with Natural Lube 1000 Plus. Quickly and efficiently removes any trace of residue or fouling without eliminating the seasoning which has coated the surface of the bore. Non-to

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Works Great on Blackpowder Fouling   July 27, 2006
Thompson/Center #13 Bore Cleaner does a great job of removing blackpowder fouling from the bore of my muzzleloader, of course it still takes a little elbow grease and bronze brush to remove the tough stuff like lead fouling, but that's necesary with any cleaner. It doesn't tar up like petroleum based solvents do, making much easier work of getting a clean barrel quickly. It seems to neutralize the corrosive properties of Pyrodex, since I haven't had any problems with rust or pitting, but after cleaning I protect the barrel with a thin coat of Bore Butter. I don't find the odor of the #13 Bore Cleaner to be offensive, nor strong.
