Amazon.com Product Description
An affordable mask for beginners to paintball, JTUSA's full-sized Elite Headshield provides complete, all-around protection. The all-black Headshield offers a wealth of venting to keep you cool when the action gets hot--from the top to the sides. It has a standard foam interior, adjustable nylon stretch lens strap, adjustable chin strap that clicks to lock, and an adjustable rear plate to protect you from shots fired from behind. The Headshield also offers a 180-degree angle of vision, visor, and hard face protection. It comes with a clear Single lens, which is recommended for average, temperate weather conditions where fogging will not be a factor. Additional lenses with tinting and fog-resistant Thermal protection are also available.

4 out of 5 stars No more dome bruises   July 9, 2008

works as advertised. fit well and protects the top of my head. no complaints here.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome!   May 14, 2008
The JT HeadShield Elite is the way to go. Besides offering a wide lense for optimum sideways vision, this design is also more of a heltmet than it is a mask. It's sturdy design covers all to most of your head, which also makes for a snug and secure fit so that the mask doesn't move when you run.

An excellent choice for a the paintballer looking for sturdy, secure and snazzy protection from the balls of doom.

4 out of 5 stars Good mask, but some fogging issues   February 8, 2008

I recently purchased this JT mask for an airsoft event. When the package arrived, I noticed that it was made of a plastic that scratched and flexed quite easily. You do not want to hit anything hard over your head.

On the field, it fogged up within the first hour of intense play. It was so bad, that I had to sit in a defensive position inside a bunker for the rest of the game. After the first game, however, the goggles did not fog up for the rest of the day; although, there was noticable condensation build-up on the nose and mouth guard.

Using this mask inhibits the use of rifle sights. Using a G36K, I was unable to look through the export sight without straining my neck and pressing hard on the mask.

Overall, a good mask, only some fogging in the early stages of game. I recommend using a defogger solution that is approved for JT lenses.

3 out of 5 stars It covers your head, but is not very comfortable.   January 3, 2008
I wanted to have full protection for my head during play (never know when that headshot will come when you lean out) and bought this one. The padding inside is cheap foam around the goggle portion and did nearly nothing to pad my face. I ended up with marks on my cheeks below my eyes where the plastic was cutting into my skin. I suggest spending the money on better head gear. Still, the held up to a firm paintball between the eyes and stayed clear of fog the entire day. Sweat collected in the foam and will drip in your eyes, so that's almost as bad.

1 out of 5 stars Decent at best   November 14, 2007

The mask kinda gets the job done and will guard your head from oncoming paintballs, but you CAN NOT USE THIS MASK IF IT IS WARM OUT! After about 3 minutes of playing in warm weather, because it's a full head mask, it will fog up to the point where you can't see a thing, and will become extremely hot. Do not get full head masks, they're just too hot and fog up (even in the winter). Get a face mask, and if you don't like paint in your hair, just wear a baseball hat backwards...
