Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
Keep your opponents clearly in view even in less than ideal weather conditions with this replacement lens for JTUSA Elite mask systems with thermal protection. It offers high-performance fog-resistant protection, and is recommended for extreme weather conditions where heavy fogging can be a factor. It's available in clear (good for dusk and night matches), yellow and amber tints (good for low-light conditions to increase contrast for enhanced visibility), and a smoke tint (the best choice for bright sunlit days, especially in open areas). It also comes in chrome, perfect for psyching out your opponents.

If you find even the smallest crack on your paintball mask lens, you should replace it immediately. For safety sake, you should replace the lens at least once a year, even if it seems fine.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars One of the best investments for your mask   July 22, 2008
As another reviewer said, these lenses are made for the JT Elite line of masks, so make sure that's what you've got before you order it.

A thermal lens is a must for hot or humid days, people with glasses or games played on days with rapid temperature changes. The color you choose should be based on where you intend to play. In the woods amber and yellow tend to bump up the contrast, allowing you to spot players in the brush easier. Conversely, the chrome and smoke lenses act like sunglasses. Clear is, well, what you're seeing anyway. I personally prefer the amber.

These lenses do take some work to swap out, but resist the temptation to use tools to help, because they will scratch the lens. Also, the inner lens is easily scratchable, so don't clean it with a paper towel or anything that rough.

All in all, a very good investment for your JT mask. Order two so you have a spare next time you're "gogged."

5 out of 5 stars Lenses that you can use in any weather   August 31, 2007
Simple like this: unexpensive item that you can trust, no worries in the field...you never gonna get fog in your mask

5 out of 5 stars Very good thermal lens.   July 17, 2007

With the strange temperature variances between winter and summer here in Nevada a good thermal lens is a priceless piece of equipment no player, woods or otherwise, should be without. I did have a problem after six months. The lens actually split in a few places. I used it in an X-Fire goggle which is very flexible and my have gotten crushed in my gear box. Still a great addition to the line of compatible goggles.

4 out of 5 stars JT Elite full head   January 20, 2007

I really like these lens, they actually make it easier to see during the evening hours just before the sun goes down. They leave little to no glare. Hard to change out but still very nice! Don't fog up as easy as the OEM lens.

4 out of 5 stars To All New Paintballers   March 1, 2006

Yes this lens looks sweet, but do not put the cart before the horse. I made the mistake of ordering this item and figured that the "Elite" meant nothing. Well, Elite means the style of JT mask so just keep that in mind. I thought Amazon mislead me on this purchase. I bought the JT Flex 8 and underneath of that item, this lens was listed. I just figured it would fit. Stupid Me
