5 out of 5 stars Spicer did it again   October 31, 2007

In short, this book provides a good basic information source for the topic without getting too deeply into the more advanced things. There is a lot of information to gleen regardless of your level of expertise.

5 out of 5 stars Really informative   October 6, 2007

I thought this book was very informative and covered alot of material that I was completely unaware of. I would definately recommend this item to anyone wanting to become a marksman.

4 out of 5 stars More an article than a manual   June 25, 2007

I was recommended this book, but was somewhat deceived. Fortunately, for the right reasons. This book is far from a manual, which is a good thing. It avoids the "bad" guys actually learning anything about the art. Despite that, it's a great article on what it takes to be good at this skill. It's also quite up to date compared to most literature on this subject.

5 out of 5 stars Practical- informative   January 18, 2007

I have read many books on the subject, but this one addresses all necessary and practical aspects of the subject and unlike most other books doesn't waste much time givin details about the history of snipping.
A must read for all practical snipping related information, doesn't cover much on supression of sound etc.

Was recommended to me by a friend. Great current info on modern sniping as well as time tested knowledge. A must for any opperator, sniper or scout.
Great Read!
