Good Intro November 18, 2002 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read this book looking to learn how to fish again. It has a great deal of valuable information that will teach you to catch fish. It's superb and a great complement to the Art of Freshwater Fishing.

This book is a must for any new fisherman. It is very useful September 26, 1999 From things you already know about fishing to helpful hints and advise on baits, presentation, weather conditions and advise on many different species of fish. This book has been my bible to help me learn the facts of fishing that has taken many fishermen years to learn. Thank you Mr. Kugach.
This book is great for a starter fishermen/women March 10, 1999 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book is a well written book for adults as much of kids. I have used many of these tips and all of them have worked.
Excellent guide for the entire family, esp. beginners June 13, 1998 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
The book is well-written, with good illustrations. Easy to read for all ages. This is particularly helpful for families that may be just starting to learn to fish together, especially "city-folk". A great gift idea for the children or grandchildren !
