5 out of 5 stars Super Book   December 26, 2005
11 out of 11 found this review helpful

This book is a great collection of games, songs and activities that you and your baby will love. They are divided by age groups (0-3 months, etc.) so you know what works best at what age. Some of the games involve toys or materials that you will need to buy but others use regular household materials. Each game includes a description of not only what to do with your baby but why it makes sense at this age. Some of the activities are things that made me think, "Oh, of course I could do this with the baby!" but they are still a good reminder of things to do.

A fun book to keep in the playroom pull out when you and baby are bored with the same old things!

Also a great book to give the babysitter to look at when the baby naps. My babysitter was really grateful for some ideas and shared the book with her friends who babysit too.

Buy this book! Toddler Play by the same author is also an outstanding book.

3 out of 5 stars we use it sometimes   December 6, 2005

I bought this book used so it was worth the money. It's full of idea to entertain babies of all ages. We have gotten a few ideas from this that we wouldn't have thought of otherwise, that our baby has really enjoyed. But most of these we haven't used and will never use. It is becoming more useful as he gets older, though, so I think we'll be using it more and more.

This book was well worth the price. Chock full of ideas and games to keep baby entertained for hours! Many creative suggestions which are easy to make or do. A great resource for new moms, dads, grandmothers, etc.!

5 out of 5 stars great for new parents   August 6, 2005

This is a wonderful book! It's easy to think of games to play and activities to stimulate babies when they're older, but this book devotes equal time to the first and second three months. I just bought one as a shower gift for a friend because I was so pleased with mine.

5 out of 5 stars Great book for parents or grandparents!   November 27, 2004

With colorful pictures and brief directions, this book gives some great basic (and cheap!) ideas to help stimulate your baby mentally and physically. While a lot of the ideas in the book are common, there are many that aren't commonly thought of.
