4 out of 5 stars Excellent Book!   February 8, 2008

This book gave me a whole new perspective on God's design for the Church. It was easy to read, because it was written like a novel, and I really gained a new understanding of the heart of God for His Church!

I am very thankful for this book.

As a pastor, I found my life scrawled on the pages, and hidden amongt biblical truths forgotten. Some might find concern that this would be a catalyst to fuel a religious exodus from the "church" world that we all know. I don't think so. I feel that if anything, it will call us to question our motivations; what really drives us; the truest intentions and purposes of our hearts.

This is one of the few books I know I will read many times through the years. I recommend it to the strongest Christian... to the struggling wanderer... to the one in a limbo someplace in between. Read, and find healing. You will.

Loved this book!!! I have already shared it with ten other people and they have thank me and have now order books to share out. This book nails it right on the head. If you need some answers about the church, this is your book to read.

Things that I have felt about the church was sum up in this one book. It is so nice to know that I'm not the only one that thinks and feels this way about the church. I have been without the four walls for 15 years to know God better.

This book was very thought provoking. I really enjoyed the entire book and purchased extra copies for my friends. If you are feeling discouraged
about how things are going in your congregation this book will definitely help you through some things.

1 out of 5 stars This book blows! Shame on those who rated it a 5!   December 21, 2007

A boring as hell book about a conversation that takes place between two people about things you already know. Don't waste your money. Buy a few draft beers instead.
