5 out of 5 stars A good read, heartwarming.   June 4, 2008
The book was a really good read but I actually enjoyed listening to the CD even better. I am glad I purchased both.

5 out of 5 stars How to Live While Dying   June 4, 2008
Really, how does a person write a feel good book about dying? Because it's not about dying. It is about living well and courageously despite a lingering sentence of death. Randy Pausch is more interested in passing on the gems for living he learned from his parents and is applying to his children now . His love for his wife and children surpasses everything and he is able to focus on them during this challenging time while he faces his own mortality. His humor ,bravery and positive attitude kept me feeling like a cheerleader for him. I plan to share the book with my college age grandson . Perhaps he will be inspired to live intelligently and gracefully as Randy is doing. Go, Dr. Pausch ; thanks for sharing your story with me.God bless you and your family.

5 out of 5 stars Legacy to a child   June 4, 2008
Professor Pausch, in the face of impending death, leaves a spoken (lecture at Carnegie Mellon) and written legacy to his three children. This legacy contains some of the most touching moments imaginable. It also contains a number of very timely and valid recommendations as to how one should live life in the face of the inevitable. Google UTube and watch his lecture. You won't forget it!

5 out of 5 stars The Best Book I Have Read in Years   June 4, 2008
I am an avid reader & this book is the best I have read in years. The fact that it is a tue story & how inspirational the author is while dying of cancer amazes me. If you only take part of the advice in the book to change your life, you'll be a better person for it. I wish Randy Pausch & his family the best...our prayers & thoughts are with you.

5 out of 5 stars Last Lecture - Life Lessons   June 4, 2008
The Last Lecture is a kind hearted book about life lessons. It's written by a well educated/quirky professor who was raised by amazing parents. I bought 3 copies of this book in May to give as gifts for mother's day. This book is inspiring, humorous, and warms my heart. Dream big, brick walls are there to show how badly you want something. I wish Randy Pausch and his loving wife and family all the best.
