Excellent book for managers and employees to read to become better leaders. Makes a distinction between being a manager and a leader.

I am a District Manager for a pharmaceutical company and I work hard to develop my team to be leaders. This is a quick read with great impact. Ken Blanchard does not disappoint. After reading the book, I bought one for each of my team and presented a powerpoint at our District meeting to discuss the high points of the book.
Worth Reading March 9, 2007 It is a quick, easy read that efficiently delivers insight. It is well worth reading. The story line is light but the book makes great points.
The Secret: What Great Leaders Know - and Do February 15, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just like all books by Ken Blanchard, it was very well written and very informative. It was an easy read and kept my interest high. I have already used it in my practice as an owner, and have used many of the thoughts and skills it provided me. I would recommend it to anyone in leadership positions. It is well worth the read.
Excellent quick read, applies to work and home too! February 9, 2007 A very easy to read, easy to follow book that provides excellent information and a plan for action for all readers. I've been in management since 1978 and while excellent management principles are basic, they are all too often ignored or not executed. In the true Blanchard style, this book brings the messages home in a way that makes them easy to assimilate and therefore actionable right away. It would be ideal if everyone in management read this book and followed the advice. The lessons articulated in this book apply for family dynamics as well. I give this book 5 stars!
