Lotus Guide Magazine Review July 2, 2008 Five Wishes: How Answering One Simple Question Can Make Your Dreams Come True By Gay Hendricks In a time when we are all looking for answers, we often overlook the necessity of finding the right questions. This is an easy-to-read book that guides you toward finding the right questions, and by reframing your answers, coming up with powerful affirmations. It also comes with a 17-minute video you can download that dramatizes the event that led to the book. Visit www.5wishesbook.com.Rahasya Poe, Lotus Guide magazine www.lotusguide.com

Really enjoyed this book however to me it resembles The Secret. "turn that wish into a goal, and put it in the present tense." This taken from the book seems to resemble the law of attraction where if you focus on what you want (desire) believe it NOW it will happen. I recommend Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbookwhich gives you more of a workbook and journal with exercises to do exactly this. Five Wishes however, does do a give job.

Reasonable material. However, would suggest Jack Canfield's Law of Attraction as a better outline for the same topic.
A Belated Thank You April 12, 2008 4 out of 25 found this review helpful
This wonderful little book is based on a life-changing conversation that the author had with a man named Ed Steinbrecher. When I saw Ed's name, it rang a bell. I suddenly remembered that in 1994 I also had a conversation with Ed. And yes, it was a life-changing experience for me, too. It took over a year for what Ed said to me to sink in, and only then did I slowly begin to fulfill a wish that had been on the back-burner of my mind for quite some time. So much time passed, in fact, that I totally forgot that it was Ed who first inspired me to live the life I truly wished to live -- as a spiritual teacher and author. So, Ed, I now offer you a much-belated, but no-less sincere, thank you! And, of course, I want to thank Gay Hendricks for writing this remarkable book, and for sharing Ed's question with the whole world. What a gift this book is going to be for thousands of people who will finally be able to make their fondest dreams come true!
