This book gives many tips and examples on how to improve your fighting skills regardless of your level. I enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to anyone looking for this kind of information.
A MAJOR amount of help! April 28, 2005 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was struggling before I read this book and wondering how I could improve certain techniques and strengthen certain muscles. Christensen gives each and every single detail on how you can improve yourself as a fighter. His advice is very good too! I found myself imroving immediately after only reading a few pages. Christensen gives you facts on whats good and bad as well as ways to train and exercises to do. This is a book you will not regret buying and has my full recommendation.
Another great book from Loren January 14, 2005 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Loren is a great writer which makes all the great information fun to read as well as actually use. Sure alot of it is no big secret but it's all here. Just doing a few of these drills and exercises will improve your skills immensely. Highly recommended as well as his Solo Training book. Loren has also written lots of great reviews of other martial arts books that are honest and imformative so by all means check em out. Good job Loren. THANKS!!!
Fun, interesting, and useful October 29, 2004 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Neat advice. Interesting and fun writing style. Useful facts, drills, and tips. As always Christensen offers solid information for serious martial artists. I liked it a lot.

this a good book for novice martial artists. It contains a myriad of effective drills (in other words, they work if you just do them) to help improve your power, your speed, your kicking ability as well as your sparring. However i don't believe i can recomend this book to advanced practitioners as they probably already know all this.
