The leverage cap makes drawing the ASP baton easier and faster than the factory straight grip. I like the added grip that I have on my baton and believe that it would be difficult for someone to pull it from my hand during force incidents. The cap doesn't cause any discomfort, even when I am riding my bicycle. Recommended for all L.E. ASP users.
